Kentucky State Police at Post 1 Mayfield will be conducting checkpoints in their coverage district.
During the roadside checkpoints, Troopers will be checking for vehicle deficiencies, confirming appropriate registration and insurance, valid driver’s license, and the use of seat belts and child safety seats.
Other violations of the law, or public safety issues, will be addressed as needed.
Drivers encountering a safety checkpoint are requested to have their operator’s license, vehicle registration receipt and proof of insurance accessible.
