Emergency personnel gathered in Union City this past weekend to participate in flood rescue training.
Rives Fire Chief Campbell Rice organized the Urban Flood Rescue Class, which took place at Discovery Park of America.
Trident Rescue, based out of the St. Louis area, were on hand to conduct training to sixteen members of the Rives Volunteer Fire Department, South Fulton Fire and Rescue, Union City Fire Department and Hornbeak Fire Department.
The three day event included class room training and work in the lake at Discovery Park.
