Union City High School Band Takes Honors in Competition

The Union City High School Marching Band had another successful competition performance on the field.

School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said Union City gathered first and second place honors at the Tournament of Champions at Collierville High School.

Union City took top honors in band and color guard in the Class-A portion, and placed second in percussion.

Following Fall Break, the marching band will participate in the Gibson County Marching Invitational on October 18th and the Crockett County Invitational on October 25th.

They will close out the competitive season at the Division II State Championship at Stewart’s Creek High School in early November.
