Union City police have issued warrants for a Martin man following theft at Walmart in Union City.
Police reports said an officer was dispatched to the West Reelfoot Avenue location, after a man identified as 49 year old Michael Wayne Walker had left the store with almost $310 in unpaid merchandise.
Walmart personnel said Walker went to the self checkout with the merchandise, then performed a fake card swipe before leaving.
Walker had been barred from Walmart property on July 31st.
Police reports said photos were provided of the latest theft, along with previous incidents involving Walker that totaled just under $4,000.
Warrants were being obtained for shoplifting and burglary.
