
The Lake County Falcons handed the South Fulton Red Devils their first loss of the year on Friday night.
The (5-2) Falcons took a 16-0 lead at halftime, and scored with less than six minutes to play to win 22-20 at Red Devil Field.
The (6-1) Red Devils rallied in the second half to take a 20-16 lead in the fourth quarter, only to see the Falcons mount a game winning drive.
South Fulton is now (3-1) in region play, with the Falcons improving to (2-1).
The Red Devils will next host Obion County Central, while Lake County will host Humboldt.
