A utility relocation project is underway in Hickman.
The work is being done in advance of a state intersection widening project at the intersection of Seventh Street and Union City Highway.
Due to the work, a section of Union City Highway and Ky-1099 By-Pass is closed.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said the work schedule will take approximately five days to complete.
Motorists must self-detour during project.
