Organizers of Union City’s annual Feeding of 5,000 are in urgent need of community support.
Refuge Church pastor Dan Huggins say the pre-Thanksgiving distribution of food items is facing a shortfall of about $7,000.(AUDIO)

With time running out to place orders for the needed chicken and ham products, Bro. Huggins said any and all financial donations would be gratefully accepted.(AUDIO)
The Feeding of the 5,000 is scheduled for November 25th at the Obion County Fairgrounds.
The event will include the distribution of 1,500 food bags, followed by a sit-down traditional Thanksgiving meal served at the Refuge Church.
