Union City school board members got an update from their Director of Schools on Monday.
During the monthly meeting at the Municipal Building, Wes Kennedy talked about the effects of the ongoing government shutdown.(AUDIO)
During the meeting, Director Kennedy also announced Angela Morris as the new Food Service Manager at the elementary school.
Board members also approved the Tennessee Investment in Student Achievement accountability report, and the Local Education Agency compliance report.
