Dresden’s Bicentennial Celebration is Saturday where local residents will have a look back to 200 years and open a 50 year old Time Capsule that was buried in 1975.
Dresden Mayor Mark Maddox tells us Saturday will be a fun day to celebrate the community’s 200 year birth day!
Besides the time capsule “opening” food trucks, vendors, bouncy houses, music and a history of Dresden will be part of the day. Mayor Maddox the day will finish with fireworks at dusk.
Items from the time capsule will be on display at Dresden Municipal Complex throughout the event after 2pm Saturday. Mayor Maddox invites everyone to the Bicentennial this Saturday in Dresden.
