Former UT Martin standout Colton Dowell is back in professional football.
The Baltimore Ravens signed Dowell to the practice squad as a wide receiver.
The 26 year old Dowell was originally drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2023, where he made the teams final roster.
In week 17 against the Houston Texans, Dowell suffered a severe knee injury on special teams that ended his season.
He was placed on the reserve list for the 2024 season due to continued rehab of the injury, and was waived by the Titans in July.
Dowell finished his playing days at UT Martin as the all-time leader in receiving yards with 2,796.
He also scored 19 touchdowns during his college career.
