Chamber of Commerce Banquet

At the Carroll Chamber Banquet last night recognition was outstanding service at the Carroll County Civic Center in Huntingdon.

They were former Tennessee Army National Guard retired Major General and now Tennessee Veterans Affairs Commissioner, Tommy Baker as Carroll Countian of the Year.

Bethel University Women’s basketball Coach Chris Nelson was recognized as N-A-I-A National Coach of the Year. Coach Nelson has carried his Lady Wildcats  15 times to the NAIA tournament and a Final Four last year. His team was in attendance for the recognition.

McKenzie’s Dan Bradfield was named Business Person of the Year.

Retired Colonel James Harding was recognized for his leadership and heroism while serving in United States Army.

Ag Business Farmer Burton Bennett who’s farm was recognized as a “Tennessee Century Farm”

and the Huntingdon Walmart  was recognized as  Business of the Year.
