
At yesterday’s Public Safety Committee meeting, the board reviewed a resolution about the price of court fees.
Court fees have been accumulating in what is called the “Economic Crime Fund” since its implementation in 1984 today, it’s outdated and no longer a necessity.

District Attorney General Colin Johnson explains the new cost of the court fees.
Mr. Johnson went on to tell the Committee what those additional funds can now be used for.
The board unanimously approved the resolution.
