The world famous Harlem Globetrotters are coming to UT Martin.
As part of their “100 Year Tour”, the Globetrotters will make an appearance at the Elam Center on Friday, December 5th.
The Globetrotters were founded in 1926, and have entertained more than 148 million fans in 124 countries.
This will be the first visit to UT Martin for the Globetrotters since 2019.
UT Martin is famous in Harlem Globetrotters history due to a game played on January 5th of 1971.
At the Skyhawk Fieldhouse, the Washington Generals, playing that night under the moniker of the New Jersey Reds, beat the Globetrotters 100-to-99 in overtime.
The loss by the Globetrotters broke a 2,495 game winning streak by the team.
