
South Fulton High School students were presented a program this week on the dangers of impaired and distracted driving.
Matt Dillard, with the 24/7 Movement, talked with the students about the death of his son and daughter on Christmas Eve, and the injuries received by their three small children.
33 year old Dustin and Brittany Dillard, of Cleveland, Tennessee, were killed instantly when their vehicle was struck head-on by an impaired driver on 2022.
The vehicle in which the Dillard’s lost their life was brought to the school for the students to see.
Following the presentation, Dillard was asked how he continues to talk about the loss of his son and daughter-in-law.(AUDIO)
Dillard said it was his hope that his testimony and the sight of the crashed vehicle could help save other lives.(AUDIO)
The driver that caused the fatal crash was given a 22 year prison sentence, with Dillard actually writing a letter of forgiveness.
