Several local Tennessee community and technical colleges honored veterans over the holiday.
As part of the ceremonies honoring all veterans, 35 veterans were awarded the Chancellor’s Commendation for Military Veterans.
Each recognized veteran received a specially designed challenge coin. The 2025 Chancellor’s Commendation for Military Veterans honorees and their military branches include:

Byron Sanford, Student, TCAT Henry/Carroll
