A Jackson inmate was sentenced to over 10 years in prison for possession of child pornography Monday.
After a targeted inmate cell search was conducted at Madison County jail, 43 year old Dallas Jay Stewart was found in possession of an electronic storage device containing images of child sexual abuse material.
Stewart was charged with one count of possession of child pornography. Stewart is serving a 50-year sentence for rape of a child and aggravated sexual battery. This sentence will run consecutive to the 50-year sentence.
