The Westview Chargers continue their run for a state football championship.
The Chargers beat Memphis Melrose 44-6 Friday night at Hardy Graham Stadium.
Westview held Melrose to a first quarter score, and led 37-6 at halftime.
With a running clock in the second half, the Chargers put the only points on the scoreboard.
Westview will remain at home this Friday night when they play Covington in the semi-final round.
Covington advanced with a 42-21 win over Dyersburg.
