At Martin’s special called City Board Meeting last night, the board attempted to induct current Vice Mayor David Belote to perform Mayoral duties for the remainder of ex Martin Mayor Randy Brundidge’s term until November 2026.
However Alderman Jacob Crowe had some concerns about inducting Alderman Belote as Mayor and suggested resignations be considered.
After Mr. Crowe expressed his concerns, the Board took a vote and commentary can be heard from those in attendance.
