
It was a deadly Thanksgiving travel period in Tennessee last week.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported eight fatal crashes and more than 200 injury crashes over the weekend.
One death was reported in McNair County while others were in Franklin, Marion, McNairy, Shelby, Washington, Wilson, and Williamson counties.
The total number of crashes with injuries was 243.
Tennessee Highway Patrol reports responding to 566 property damage crashes. The THP assisted 902 motorists with issues such as flat tires and disabled vehicles.
