Weakley County Circuit Clerk Courtney McMinn is stepping down from her position at the end of December. Mayor Dale Hutcherson received Ms. McMinn’s resignation yesterday. In her resignation Ms. McMinn says she recognized the need to prioritize her family during “the season of life.” She says she will seek new career opportunities that offer a better balance for her family.
In her letter to the Mayor she said she remain deeply grateful for the trust placed in her and will support a smooth transition during her remaining time.
Mayor Hutcherson told Thunderbolt Radio News he will reach out to C-TAS and Weakley County Commissioners regarding the vacancy. Mayor Hutcherson said he will continue to effectively and efficiently serve citizens while navigating the transition in the days ahead.
