Weakley County Schools Supervisor of Transportation Kirsten Rook said Tuesday evening, an incident involving a school bus took place and is believed to have been a hit-and-run on Highway 124.
No students were on board at the time, and the bus driver was uninjured. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.
Communications Director Maegan Jolley said the safety of Weakley County students, faculty, and staff remain top priority.
