A Mayfield man has been arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse material.
The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested 20 year old Cole Steven Farthing following an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
The investigation began after discovering Farthing was sharing images of child sexual exploitation online.
A search warrant at a residence in Mayfield resulted in seized equipment used to facilitate the crime.
Farthing is currently charged with two felony counts of distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under 12 years old.
He is also charged with six felony counts of procuring or promoting the use of a minor by electronic means.
