Habitat for Humanity Holds New Home Ceremony for Hickman Resident

A crowd of friends, family and well wishers attended a Habitat for Humanity house opening in Hickman on Sunday.

The group gathered in support of Steve Sellers, whose home and most all belongings were destroyed by fire just over a year ago.

Sellers was a longtime employee at the Hickman National Guard and Fulton County Office Building.

Local Habitat representative Cherry Pyron was the host of the service.(AUDIO)

 

West Hickman Baptist Church pastor, Jason Sipes, expressed his gratitude for all that supported Sellers with the new home.(AUDIO)

 

During the ceremony, Mrs. Pyron also presented a new Bible to Sellers, with those in attendance gathering to sing “There is Something About That Name”.
