This morning, a shooting in the Lennox area of Dyer County left one man dead and another in critical condition.
Channel 12 reports that the Dyer County Sheriff’s Office responded this morning and found a man with at least one gunshot wound, pronounced dead at the scene, with a second man shot and taken to a hospital in critical condition.
The suspect then collided head-on with an 18-wheeler on Interstate 155 near Highway 181 in Dyer County, in a suicide attempt, leaving him critically injured.
The sheriff’s office has not released the identities of the deceased or the suspect and the investigation is ongoing.
