
Multiple fire departments responded to an Obion County fire on Sunday morning.
The Obion Fire Department and Rives Fire Department were dispatched as automatic aid to the Troy Fire Department for a structure fire in the Polk Station area just before 11:00.
Reports said Obion Fire Chief Kane Stacks arrived on scene to a one-story residential dwelling fully involved.
The Kenton Fire Department was requested for mutual aid to provide additional manpower and tanker support, with the Troy Fire Department assisting with manpower for the exterior operations.
Reports said the fire was brought under control within 45 minutes of crews arriving on scene.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office, Gibson Electric and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation were also at the scene.
The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
