A convicted felon on parole out of Kentucky was arrested by Sharon Police Chief Gary Eddings following a domestic dispute. Chief Eddings arrived on the scene about 2am Sunday at learned Kevin Dale Irvan who makes his residence in Dukedom left his pickup on the premises.
Later in the day Chief Eddings observed Irvan driving by the resident’s home and pulled him over asking about a confrontation earlier.
During questioning, Eddings found a 9-millimeter gun underneath the truck seat and the smell of marijuana in a black box.
Irvan then took off running on foot for about half mile and officers were able to detain him with help from Greenfield and the Sheriff’s Department.
Irvan will be in court this afternoon for a hearing.
