The Weakley County Election Commission has released their Candidate list.
So far, the candidates include,

Districts 8 Herman Roger Donaldson and Jack J. Vincent
County Trustee, Marci Floyd
Register of Deeds April Wright Jones
In Weakley County, the only elected official that is not up for re-election is Assessor of Property which will be two years out.
The deadline to qualify to be on the May ballot is February 19th, 2026.
There is no cost to pick up a petition to seek an office.
The office will be closed the 24th, 25 and 26 and January 1st.
