The City of Humboldt has sworn in new leadership following its recent municipal election.
According to Channel 7, Arthur L. Boykin was elected mayor and offically took the oath, becoming the first African-American Mayor and Alderman in Gibson County history. Boykin is a longtime Humboldt resident and said he looks forward to serving the community and working alongside city leaders.
