Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union City has announced the birth of the first baby for 2026.
Adalyne Mae Laws was born on January 1st and weighed in at 8-pounds and 5-ounces.
Adalyne is the daughter of Elyssa Larrauri and Dawson Laws, of Dresden.
Baptist Union City CEO/administrator Skipper Bondurant offered congratulations to the family, saying it was always a blessing to welcome the first baby of the year.
The hospital presented the family with a wagon full of gifts.
