
The National Weather Service says there is a chance of strong to severe thunderstorms in the Ken-Tenn area this week.
Forecasters say a front will move into the area on Thursday and Friday, with rain and thunderstorm chances from 60-percent to 70-percent during the period.
Current forecasts indicate a chance of severe storms on Thursday night into Friday, with high winds being a potential factor.
Portions of the Ken-Tenn area has been placed in a “marginal risk” area for the potential weather on Thursday, and a Level 2 “slight risk” on Friday .
Daytime temperatures both Thursday and Friday will be in the upper-60’s.
