The Hickman-Dorena Ferry has announced a temporary closure due to low Mississippi River waters.
The ferry connects KY-1354 at Hickman with Missouri Route-A and Route-77 near Dorena, Missouri.
The Mississippi River at Hickman is at 2.1-feet today, a drop of just over one-foot from Thursday.
Dry conditions also has the river gauge at Tiptonville today at 3.1-feet, down one-foot from Thursday.
On the Ohio River at Cairo, Illinois, the river gauge stands at 9.5-feet, a drop of one-foot from Thursday.
