The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has announced a bridge opening in Fulton County.
KY-1282 has reopened for traffic between KY-311 and KY-925, near the intersection of Joe Parker Road.
As a safety precaution, the Owens Slough Bridge was closed in early February of 2025 due to substructure deterioration.
A new bridge was constructed at the site for $425,000.
Transportation reports indicate 105 vehicles travel the KY-282 section of roadway in an average day.
