Skyhawks Split with Screaming Eagles

The University of Tennessee at Martin women’s basketball team outscored Southern Indiana in the second half of Saturday’s game at Liberty Arena in Evansville, but it was ultimately not enough as the Skyhawks fell to the Screaming Eagles, 52-43.

Kenley McCarn led the Skyhawks in scoring and rebounding in the game with 17 points and eight rebounds. Brittani Wells added seven points and four rebounds, while Norah Clark chipped in with four points, five rebounds and three assists.

In the men’s game, sophomore guard Filip Radaković registered the second double-double of his University of Tennessee at Martin career to help the Skyhawks to a 73-56 triumph over Southern Indiana.

 

Radaković poured in a career-best 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting and a 9-for-10 effort from the free throw line. He also equaled a career-high with 10 rebounds.

 

The Skyhawks return home to the Kathleen & Tom Elam Center on Thursday to host SIUE at 5:30 p.m.
