
The Weakley County Courthouse was approved for a $500,000 “Historic Courthouse repairs” grant
The Courthouse will now be nationally in the “Nation Register of Historical Places” and receive necessary repairs.
Mayor Dale Hutcherson told Thunderbolt News that the acquisition of this grant saves tax payers over $450,000.
He goes on to recognize some of the people involved in the process of receiving the grant.
The Courthouse will not only receive repairs, but it will be nationally recognized in the “National Register of Historical Places”.
