On Tuesday at 2:40, Sharon Fire was dispatched to a structure fire on Hawkins Road near Sidonia.
Sharon Fire responded along with the Sidionia Fire Department. When units arrived, heavy smoke was visible from a large metal barn.

Sharon Fire Department requested mutual aid from Greenfield, Martin and Gibson County Fire Departments for manpower and tankers.
Sharon and other departments contained the fire from spreading to the house and other nearby buildings.
