
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee has declared January 19th Monday, as Dolly Parton Day for the Volunteer State.
Gov. Lee signed a proclamation today to honor Dolly’s 80th birthday Monday .
In honor the life, legacy, and extraordinary contributions of Tennessee’s favorite daughter, Governor Lee said “Dolly Parton’s life and career is woven into Tennessee’s music, culture, and rich history,”
He went on to say “Dolly’s talent and generosity have made a lasting impact on the world, and it is fitting that we honor her 80th birthday by celebrating her remarkable legacy and dedication to the Volunteer State.”
