
Two Fayette County men have been charged in connection with an early morning shooting on Hughes Drive in Jackson.
Monday January 12th, Jackson Police officers responded to a report of gunfire in the area of Hughes Drive near Northside Drive while the residents were asleep inside with their children. No injuries were reported.
During a search by the Jackson Police Department Gang Unit on a home in Moscow, investigators recovered evidence related to the Jackson shooting, along with multiple firearms and narcotics.
The recovered firearms were submitted for analysis and linked the firearms to the shooting incident.
Nineteen year old Cameron Hullom, and 19 year old Nehemiah Shaw, were formally charged Wednesday, in Fayette County with felony narcotics and weapons offenses.
They were arraigned in Jackson City Court on charges of Attempted First-Degree Murder, and Employing a Firearm During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony Friday.
