
The deadline for candidates to file for the Democratic Primary in Kentucky has passed.
Several races in Fulton County will be contested, including the seat of County Judge-Executive.
On the May primary, current Judge-Executive Jim Martin has filed for another term, with the ballot to also include County Magistrate Christopher Wade Adams. The winner will face Republican candidate Rob Coffey in November.
For the office of Property Valuation Administrator, Chad Everett and Lance Jason Gibbs are on the ballot.
For Fulton County Jailer, Fulton County Detention Center employees Robin Amberg and Elizabeth Easley are on the May ballot. The winner will face James Bridges in the November election.
In the Magistrate race for District 2, Zachary Greer, Micheal Foad Smith and Micheal James Cash are on the May primary ballot. The winner will face Republican Nathan Campbell in November.
Magistrate for District 3 includes incumbent James Matthew Moss, Nathan Lyle Wilson and Gregory Black.
Magistrate for District 4 includes Jordon O’Neal and Christopher Garrigus on the May primary. The winner will face Republican candidates Brandon Uzzle and Johnathon Todd West, along with Independent incumbent Lace “Butch” Busby Jr. in the November election.
The May Primary in Kentucky is May 19th.
