The Weakley County Election Commission has released their updated candidate list for those interested in becoming or remaining a Weakley County Elected Official.
New comers to the list include Joyce Washington and Sam Goyret. Both are Democrats, running for a position on the County Commission for District Five.
Beau Atkins put in his petition for a position on the County School Board for District two.
Martin Hamlin put in his petition on the County School Board for District four.
The deadline to qualify for the May ballot is February 19th.
There is no cost to pick up a petition.
