
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for the Ken-Tenn area.
Weather Service meteorologists say the warning area will be in effect from Friday at 6:00 until Sunday night at 6:00.
Forecasts call for a chance of snow late Friday night, with wind chill values as low as three-below-zero.
On Saturday, the area can expect snow mixed with freezing rain and sleet, with snow and sleet accumulations of 3-to-5 inches.
Saturday night, again a mixture of snow, freezing rain and sleet, with accumulations of 1-to-2 inches, with snow ending on Sunday before noon.
Along with the winter precipitation will be very cold conditions, as daytime highs will remain in the upper teens.
Nightime lows on Saturday will be around 10, with Sunday and Monday temperatures at or below zero.
