Lifeline Blood Services held a ribbon cutting yesterday to celebrate the grand opening of its newest donation center in Paris.
The donor center will provide a convenient location for volunteer donors to give blood and platelets that directly support local hospitals and patients in need.
The new center is located at 211 Tyson Avenue, in Paris and is open Sunday through Tuesday from 10 to 6, and Wednesday and Saturday from 8 to 4.
Appointments are not necessary for whole blood donations. Platelet donation appointments may be scheduled by calling.
