Dresden Fire Department will receive over $55,000 in grant money to purchase new equipment.
The department announced Wednesday that they were chosen after a competitive evaluation process to receive the 2026 Volunteer Firefighter Equipment and Training Grant.
The funding will go directly toward firefighter equipment helping ensure volunteers have the tools and resources needed to serve our community.
