A Discovery Park of America employee has been honored with a major tourism award.
Tammy Ursery, the director of group sales at the Union City museum and heritage park, was named the 2026 Tour and Travel Associate of the Year by the Tennessee Motor Coach Association.
The award recognizes outstanding contributions by an associate member in supporting and promoting group travel and tourism within the motor coach industry.
Joey Mills, the president of the Tennessee Motor Coach Association, said Tammy’s work promoting Northwest Tennessee as a premier destination, along with her collaborative spirit, embodies the values for the award.
Tammy Ursery has been an employee at Discovery Park of America for 12 years.
