Jackson police are investigating the shooting into a restaurant on Monday that resulted in an injury.
Police said officers responded Monday night around 9:15, to an armed incident at Jack’s Restaurant on North Highland.
Police reports said the incident involved multiple suspects, with one male suspect displaying a handgun.
That individual fired a shot into the business through a window at a group of people.
During the shooting, a juvenile was struck by projectile fragments and sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police are currently investigating the incident and are seeking any witnesses or individuals with information that could assist in the ongoing investigation.
