
The woman charged in the shooting death of a Weakley County Sheriff’s deputy made a court appearance this week.
44 year old Khristi Dawn Cunningham, of Ohio, made an initial court appearance Tuesday in Weakley County General Sessions Court.
During the short session in front of Judge Tommy Moore, Cunningham was appointed an attorney.
She is charged with murder in the January 30th shooting death of Deputy Derrick Bonham in Martin.
Deputy Bonham was shot after responding to assist Martin police officers in a “shots fired” 911 call at Days Inn.
Cunningham is now scheduled for a preliminary hearing on February 20th.
She is being held without bond at the Obion County Jail.
