About 5:35 yesterday afternoon Dresden Fire Fighters fought a structure-blaze and were able to contain the fire to the attic and exterior of the home on Weakley County Nursing Home Road.
Deputy Fire Chief Kory Green said crews encountered heavy fire and smoke when arrived and were able to contain the blaze to the attic area and exterior of the home of Houston Taylor.
Dresden Fire Fighters were assisted with Mutual aid from the Martin Fire Department and EMS.
Cause of the fire was not reported at this time.
