
A vehicle crash in Graves County back in July has resulted in charges of first degree murder and fetal homicide.
The investigation indicated that the vehicle ran off onto the shoulder of Kentucky Highway 408 following a domestic disturbance.
The vehicle struck a tree, and then caught fire, killing the passenger, 22-year-old Raye Jones and her unborn child.
The driver, 30-year-old Sherrod Shelton of Graves County, was found lying in the middle of the roadway with severe injuries.
Shelton was charged with 1st Degree Murder and Fetal Homicide Tuesday.
He is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges where a child suffered 1st Degree burns from a cigarette.
