A nine year Tennessee boy died yesterday after police say he fell from an overlook in Putman County.
The Monterey Police Department closed
Bee Rock Overlook after learning a 9-year-old boy died after falling from the overlook about 2:30.
Putnam County EMS personnel descended and began life saving measures, but were unsuccessful.
The child was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
Bee Rock is a scenic cliff-side viewpoint near Monterey which is a nature lovers, photographers and rock climbers paradise.
