In a special called Martin City Board meeting last week, a vote was held for “Vision, Voices and Viability”.
This community development initiative is a ten year strategic plan for the City of Martin proposed by Ward 2 Alderman, Dr. Kent Kelso.
After discussion amongst Aldermen and city residents, the board took a vote.
The initiative passed in a 4-2 vote in favor of the plan.
