A longstanding historical marker in Fulton is now getting a new life and a different location.
Fulton Tourism Director Kenney Etherton told Thunderbolt News about a tip that helped save the historical monument.(AUDIO)
Due to its historical significance about the area, Etherton said he requested the marker be made more accessible to the public.(AUDIO)
Etherton said he has learned the new marker has been completed and will be scheduled for placement at Ponotoc Park in the near future.
